RECORDING SECRETARY: Becky Yohonn read the August and September minutes. Minutes were accepted. There were no additions, corrections or deletions. NEW MEMBERS: Pat Campbell gave a second reading for Eddie Broussard and Ron Matranga. Membership voted. Votes were counted. Both accepted for membership. 2010 SHOW CHAIRMAN: Dale Van Camp presented details of 2010 Rotating National Chihuahua Specialty, GONE HOLLYWOOD. 1) Bill Kohler of Arizona will be our photographer. For further information see: www. southerncaliforniachihuahuaclub.com or contact Dale Van Camp. 2) A 501C designation for tax purposes is required by the AKC. A further classification of the 501C4 or 6, or 7 will be defined by the IRS. We are awaiting our status. PER THE IRS: • We cannot accept contributions. • We cannot accept donations. • We cannot issue tax deduction forms. • We cannot conduct raffles. • We can conduct auctions. 3) Four contracts have been signed for our Welcoming Party impersonators: Elvis Presley, Kenny Rogers, Tim McGraw and Taylor Swift will perform. NEW BUSINESS: Elections were held by acclamation per our Constitution. Pam Amos made a motion to accept the slate of officers. Dale Van Camp seconded the motion. Membership voted to affirm the slate of new officers for 2011: President: Colleen Comber 1st Vice President: Dale Van Camp Members at Large: 2nd Vice President: Pat Campbell Christie Foulk Recording Secretary: Paul Brown Val Cross Corresponding Secretary: Kathy Smith Doreen Blank Treasurer: Val Brown There will be no official December meeting. CHRISTMAS PARTY: Will be held at the home of Val and Dorothea Cross and Beckey Bond, 7072 Kermore Lane, Stanton, California 90680 on Sunday, December 19, 2010, at 12 noon.
