GENERAL MEETING MINUTES – May 5, 2011

CALL TO ORDER: Colleen Comber called the meeting to order at 7:01pm.
MINUTES: Paul Brown read the minutes from the April Meeting. Dale Van Camp moved to enter
the minutes as read and it was seconded by Ed Comber. The minutes were approved.
CORRESPONDING SECRETARY:
There was no corresponding secretary report.
TREASURER:
Valerie Brown reported a balance of 7630.58.
OLD BUSINESS:
A card circulated for Francis Husbands.
Colleen read out a note thanking everyone who volunteered at the national specialty. Everyone
applauded Dale Van Camp for her hard work organizing the National Specialty.
Dale Van Camp presented the National Specialty Show budget. Dale handed out the budget
sheets. The club made a profit $1203.40 from the National Specialty.
Dale is making a National Specialty Scrapbook. She asked that if anyone has pictures from the
show to please provide her a copy for the scrap book.
NEW MEMBERS:
Pat Campbell reported that Jeanna Lightfoot was elected to membership last month.
Pat Campbell did a second reading for Becky Bell. The members did not vote on her
membership because Becky has not attended a meeting. When she attends a meeting a
reading and a vote will be taken.
ADJOURNED: Nona Gow motioned to end the meeting and Paul Brown seconded. The meeting
was adjourned at 7:20pm.
