| Southern California Chihuahua Club BOARD MEETING Minutes – July 14, 2010 – 5:50pm Marie Callender’s Restaurant, Corona, California Board Members Present: President – Colleen Comber 1st Vice President – Kathy Smith 2nd Vice President – Pat Campbell Treasurer – Linda Randall Recording Secretary – Becky Yohonn Corresponding Secretary – Dale Van Camp Member at large – Doreen Blank Member at large – Jennifer Randall Member at large (absent) – Paul Starjack Guest: Ed Comber Twelve items were discussed: 1)RV Chairman for National – Kristin Roe quit. Kristy Foak will take it over. There will be eight RV spaces available. She said her 13 year old daughter could sing and play guitar as Taylor Swift at the National. 2)Ring Steward for National – Johnny Shoemaker letter. See Becky Yohonn to view letter. 3)Photographer for National – Bill Koehler – see Becky Yohonn to view letter. 4)Silent Auction for National – Suzanne Stephens says a silent auction is less work for the club and faster. We will all be tired that evening and want to get out to groom our dogs. The 20/20 event may fizzle. We need to decide when to hold the auction by September. 5) Advertising for National – Pat Larissy said Sandra Pescina does CCA ads. She will also do our ads from beginning to end. 6) BBQ/Fun Match will be September 12 at Neil Snipes Park. Doreen will do grooming and Linda will do CGC certifications. 7) Vet Form/Judge’s form/Statement of Compliance form/Disaster form all will be sent in. 8) Wednesday, April 27 Welcome Party at National will feature impersonators. Doreen to check prices. Party will be held 6:00pm to 7:00pm. Performers will be hired from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. 9) Webmaster is needed. Ask Mark Burhart. 10) 501-C3 – Dale will go to Upland at 9:30am tomorrow for the last meeting on this. We will submit our application with a $400 fee. 11) Storage Closet for SCCC possessions. Instead of someone having to store things we need an official site to house our things. We think 16 square feet would do it for $49.00 per month. 12) Wee Doggie Tales Editor – We need a new editor to email info to entire membership once a month. Board Meeting was adjourned at 6:43pm.
